First Day Out
Today was the first day that I have left the house except to go to doctors appointments. It was very nice to get out and see the town. Kelly took me out to brunch and I had eggs benedict and a really delicious piece of huckleberry peach pie. What a treat! Although I was only gone from my boys for less than 2 hours, it was still a nice break. Scott's break came later in the afternoon when he hit the slopes for the first time since Tyler was born. We have been experiencing inversions every day this week, so he got to actually see the sun shine.

2 Week Update
Tyler had his 2 week doctor appointment today and everything is going along just fine. He weighs in at 7 pounds 14 ounces, 21 inches long. Quite a big gain for 2 weeks! His heart and lungs sound great and his umbilical cord came off today. He is sleeping a lot during the day, and 2 hours at a time at night. That is not so fun. Everyone says to sleep when he sleeps, so that is what I am trying to do, even if it means napping at 8 pm. Here are some pictures that Christine took the other day. He is such a cutie!

My Three Boys
We have been home for a week, it's hard to believe. Every day Tyler does something new, whether it's folding his hands together, not going to bed until 1:30 am (that was a treat), or going through an entire pack of diapers. Needless to say, every day has been its own adventure. It's strange to not have plans for the day, except to feed and change the baby. I think I'll be ready to go out in the real world next week. Tyler has his 2 week appointment on Monday. Hopefully he is growing on schedule. He was already above his birth weight when we left the hospital, so we know he likes to eat!

Welcome Home Tyler!
Our first night home was pretty typical. Tyler woke up about 3 or 4 times to eat, but went right back to sleep each time. Last night, however, was a different story. When he would wake up, he didn't want to go back to sleep unless he was being held. I guess this is something to get used to! All in all, we are totally in love with him and learning more every day.

Snow, Snow, and.... More Snow
Holy Smokes do we have a lot of snow! It has been snowing for days (literally) and it's all Scott can do to try to keep up. Today after a successful trip to Big Mountain, he had to park in the street and shovel the driveway in order to pull the car in. The fence between the neighbors house is nearly buried and there are walls of snow everywhere!

On the baby front, I am getting quite uncomfortable. Sleeping is hard, my back hurts... all things I guess you expect when 39 weeks pregnant! Hopefully the snow situation won't hinder a trip to the hospital. The doctor seems to think January 14th is still the "big day", so I guess we'll see!
