Visit to see Santa

Today's visit to the mall went very well. Tyler told Santa he wanted a fire truck and red beep beep. He smiled and said Merry Christmas. No tears, a candy cane and lunch at Moose's...sounds like a great afternoon!

The new Kirby

For those of you who receive our Christmas card, I would like you to see what Kirby looks like after a hair cut....poor pup wasn't able to look his best that day. Our nine year old dog still acts like a puppy some days, and an old man others. Tyler sure loves to play with him, and we all like to cuddle with our little 'snooze machine'!

Finally...SNOW!

Today we woke up to snow covering the ground. Tyler went out to help Daddy shovel.  Hopefully we will keep this snow until Christmas!

Tyler Dancing

Tyler recently has starting busting out some interesting dance moves. The theme song to Thomas the Train usually gets him going. He also is now a fan of singing and dancing to Jingle Bells. Hopefully we'll be able to get that on video this season.

We are starting to get into the Christmas spirit here, but it is hard when we still have grass in the yard. Here's to hoping we get a big snow before Christmas!

Random Pictures

Here are some pictures that Kathy took with her camera this fall. As you can see, Tyler is a straight up Goose!

New ski helmet

We got Tyler a ski helmet for his upcoming season of ski lessons. He is a big fan and can't wait for January.

Halloween

Tyler had so much fun on Halloween this year. Kathy took him trick or treating around our neighborhood while the sun was still out, and he loved it! He would ring the doorbell, say trick or treat, and then say thank you after he got his candy. He went for about an hour, and then got tired. We stopped by the Peppemeiers to witness the crush of kids on their block. Tyler loved helping Kelly pass out candy and wish everyone a Happy Halloween!

Our little monkey! His costume was super cozy and he loved it.

More Fun at the Pumpkin Patch

Tyler has been a lucky boy this month and has gone to Sweet Pickins pumpkin patch 3 times! He loves playing in the sandbox there with all of the big diggers and going on the tractor ride. Good thing he has his own tractor and sandbox, or else I never would have gotten him out of there

The giant awesome sandbox, a little boys heaven

Riding the giant trike.... I actually had to pedal and have him ride on my lap... my legs were burning after a lap around the track.

Pumpkin Patch

A recent visit to the local pumpkin patch proved to be tons of fun for Tyler.  From the jumphouse to fishing and mini golf, it was a great outing!

Harvest Time

Grandma and Grandpa got Tyler his own John Deere tractor. It also has a wagon that he can hook behind it, in which he carries a toy frog and a rock. Yesterday they brought the tractor to dinner and he amused us by taking out the croquet course at Al and Helen Jane's house. He is still getting the hang of reverse, but absolutely LOVES this thing! Thanks G&G!

Fall is in the Air

It went from summer to fall very quickly. The leaves are starting to change, the down comforters are coming out, but none of that stops Tyler from playing outside.... it is his favorite place. Currently, he is in his sandbox digging, and he wants to do it even when it gets dark outside. He LOVES tractors (or beep beeps as he calls them) and loves being in the dirt. He also can now reach the pedals of his trike, so he spends lots of time riding aroud the house. His new thing is to hide Kirby's treat in the back of the trike and speed around the house so that Kirby chases him. It really is entertainment!
We hope that all of you are enjoying your September... winter will be here before we know it!

Summer Visitors

We have been fortunate to have so many summer visitors. Some were just for a day, but my Aunt Chris and Uncle Neal were here for 10 days in August. They rented a sweet house on Whitefish Lake right when we got our boat, so we were able to spend lots of time with them. Thanks to everyone for visiting us and come back soon!

Tyler is so happy to be playing outside! He loved being in Glacier Park

Tyler with Eleanore and Jack on the boat cruise on Two Medicine Lake. It was so great to see Elle, even for a few hours!
Scott, Duston, and future Kappa Sig Tyler. Duston was visiting Montana all the way from Bolivia! He was Scott's little brother at MSU.

The Boat

We recently went in with Kathy and purchased a boat. It is a 2003 Seadoo 205 in amazing condition. It has a waketower, 240 hp, and enough room to seat 8 adults comfortably. We were able to take it out for some cruises on Whitefish Lake these past couple of weeks, and it is a lot of fun. Hopefully our nice weather holds out a while longer so we can keep using it this season!

August = Fun!

Happy Labor Day Weekend! This past month was such a good time up here in Whitefish. We had gorgeous weather, had lots of visitors, and got a boat! We have really been enjoying our town and everyone who came to see us. Stay tuned for pictures of it all!

More Backyard Fun

Tyler has been having so much fun in the yard this summer! Not only does he have a sandbox, but we got a blow up pirate ship kiddie pool for a BBQ with our friends. It is like our very own playground!

I love digging!

The Stanley Cup comes to Whitefish!!!

Couch Doug Houda from the Boston Bruins has property at Iron Horse here in Whitefish. With his one day with the cup, he chose to bring in to Whitefish! He first brought it to the rink where each person got to spend one minute with the cup, taking pictures, checking it out or whatever.
Little did I know, he would be bringing it to the Northern that night for 2 hours! He let all of our customers and employees hold it, take pictures, kiss it, or whatever else they could think of!

Cup Security!
