While I was making breakfast...

...it seems our little Picasso was busy with the blue crayon. After a brief freak out, I was able to clean it up. My thanks go out to 1) Crayola for making washable crayons 2) whoever invented Microfiber as a furniture surface and 3) the baby wipe for making most messes disappear.

After this masterpiece was gone, I saw Tyler trying to color Kirby with crayons. Luckily the dog is too quick for him!

A Wicked Trip to Spokane

Kathy, Fafa, and Stef ready to hit the town!
Sarah and Erin

This past weekend, a bunch of us girls went to Spokane to see the hit Broadway Musical Wicked. It was an amazing show, and such a fun time. We were able to go shopping, have martinis, and just enjoy each others company. It was so fun to have a Girls Weekend! A big thanks to the husbands and grandpas that helped us out!

May Events

Things around here have been pretty normal lately. Tyler is going to "school" on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and loving it. He also got his second hair cut, and now he looks like a big boy.
We have been enjoying the sun when it comes out as Tyler loves to play outside whether it is kicking a ball, digging in the dirt, or riding his trike. We are really looking forward to summer and getting warmer weather so we can be outside everyday!

All set to go to school!
What a monkey....

I spent last Thursday making a wedding cake for a co-worker of mine. Two tiers of chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream filling, one tier of lemon cake with cream cheese filling. I covered each tier in homemade fondant and applied individual sugar pearls on the edge of the tiers. Lets just say it was a lot of work...

Easter

Easter Sunday was a gorgeous day and we spent a lot of it outside playing. Tyler was a lucky boy and got 2 Easter baskets with fun stuff and he had an Easter egg hunt out at Doug and Christine's house, where we also had a delicious dinner. Since Sunday, our weather has turned for the worst and we have seen everything from rain to hail to snow. Today is in the 40's, but hats and coats still required for outside time. Hopefully May will bring us more sun than April did!
