First Trip to Urgent Care

Don't be alarmed... everything is fine. Today Tyler woke up with a big infected blister on the tip of his left index finger. It popped, looked fine, and then after playing outside, the entire finger was red and swollen. Our pediatrician is out this week, so off to urgent care we went. It took a nurse, Scott, and I to hold our monkey down while the doctor drained the blister and removed what looked like a sliver or stinger of some sort. As of bedtime, his finger was looking good and he'll make a full recovery and be back to digging in the dirt in no time.
In other news, Tyler got to wear his red shoes for the first time today. How cute are they?

Check out my new kicks!

And the view from the side...

infecter finger? that is the beginning of little problems: scraped knees, bruises and cuts. Have your first aid kit with neosporin and bandaids available and accessible everywhere.
Red shoes..even at 86 I still dream of wearing a pair. My petit prince seems to be very proud of them, it might be his signature forever. Grandnana
