Happy 2nd Birthday, Tyler!

I can't believe our baby boy is two years old! These 2 years have gone by so fast, it's hard to believe that he is officially a toddler. Tyler is such a wonderful boy. He loves trains, trucks, tractors, anything electronic, books, and Yo Gabba Gabba (a show on Nick Jr.). He loves to give kisses, hi-fives, pet his puppy, and cuddle with his stuffed animals. He is a fast runner, a climber, jumper, and all-around monkey. We love you so much, Goose! Happy Birthday!

We had such a great day on Tuesday celebrating Tyler's big day. We started with pancakes, then went to Jumping Jacks, an indoor bouncy house playground. We had so much fun, and were the only 3 people there. Tyler ran from slide to slide, climbing and jumping. We will definitely go back.

Getting into one of the bouncy structures
Going down the slide
Climbing up the ladder
on a quick break from running and jumping

We had a birthday party for Tyler at our house that night. It was a great time, and of course he loved ripping open all the presents. Thank you to everyone for the wonderful gifts!
Team Peppmeier got Tyler his first pair of ski goggles!

Uncle Nico got a cool bedtime book with a flashlight and shadow stencils
Trying on his new skis!
The cake before it was destroyed... it's Muno from Yo Gabba Gabba
(a magical cyclops-type creature)How old are you? 2!!
and all tired out after such a big day!

Of course, we wish we could have been there for that first rite of passage (no longer a baby) That child is precious, looks (and is) smart, well adjusted, healthy, gregarious, active, affectionate, all the qualities we all want in children; I am sure he is still obedient. Defiance, independence will come later...alas! Please, record his first ski adventure, of course he will be a natural, fearless and fast. Daddy will be proud, Mommy will be fearful. Thank you for posting regularly, Stef. I am grateful to you. Love Papie and Nana
