May Events

Things around here have been pretty normal lately. Tyler is going to "school" on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and loving it. He also got his second hair cut, and now he looks like a big boy.
We have been enjoying the sun when it comes out as Tyler loves to play outside whether it is kicking a ball, digging in the dirt, or riding his trike. We are really looking forward to summer and getting warmer weather so we can be outside everyday!

All set to go to school!
What a monkey....

I spent last Thursday making a wedding cake for a co-worker of mine. Two tiers of chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream filling, one tier of lemon cake with cream cheese filling. I covered each tier in homemade fondant and applied individual sugar pearls on the edge of the tiers. Lets just say it was a lot of work...

May is almost over, the snow is gone, the soil is ready for planting: do not forget a few seeds of pumkin; Tyler will love to watch them grow: it is magical, one of the most amazing experiences that a child never forgets.
With love. Nana

THE CAKE: so beautiful and I am sure delicious. You are a great baker as well as an artist and a perfectionist! Yes, it is a lot of work and of patience like all masterpieces. It is worth the time.
I am proud of you. Nana
