Playground Day

Today was a beautiful day, almost 80 degrees! Quite a change from last week, thankfully. We went to the playground with Kelly and Annemarie and had a great time. Tyler is getting more familiar with playing around other kids and loves the slides. After playing we had lunch at the bar. Tyler was in great spirits and was quite a cutie in his new hat. Thank goodness spring is finally here!
Mmm....crackers... delish!
I love to go head first down the slide!
Wheee! That was fun!

Playing with other children is a good way to learn social graces, to share games and activities, to communicate at his own level and perhaps at older children's level. His ability to speak and to make himself understood will develop faster than playing with kirby whose language is limited. I am glad he has playmates once in a while; books and toys are wonderful when he is alone and will stimulate his imagination so will the exchange or interaction with other kids.
Besides, he looks very smart, alert, playful, in full development.
Congratulations. Both of you are doing a wonderful job rearing him and so are the grandparents.
Love to all. Nana
